The town is pretty common, about 12000 people. We stayed at a very nice hotel, called Alex (just like me :).
They also had a leaflet about Jibou and the surroundings, and I discovered there, that Jibou has a rather large Botanic Garden....
So, I decided to pay it a visit, and I was very much impressed. I would have never dreamed that they have about 30.000 different plants (flowers, trees, cactee, etc.). Our local Botanic Garden is far from such a size (and our town is only about 30 times bigger :).
