It was a verz nice relaxing week, close to the Atlantic ocean (about 30 minutes walking, or 5 minutes driving). That didn't really make a difference though, as the water was darn cold. We did have a bath once, but it was really chilly. The air was very nice, and walking around the beach collecting molusks (really yummy too) and shells.
La Rochelle is also a very nice city (pretty old), with lots of interesting buildings. We took a boat-trip up to Fort Boyard (they host a pretty well-known show there) and back, which was fun (besides beeing a bit breezy).
