We decided to take a hike up to the Bucura Lake It's about 4h drive from my home town, and you get up to ~1600m with the car. From there it's roughly a 2h climb to the bucura lake (well.. at least for people like us with no exersise.. otherwise you can do it 1h or less).
We spent about 1h near the lake, where we had a very nice meal (the fresh air really helps your appetite..)
